Component

AM-1B also consists of three layers, with a bronze backing replacing the steel backing strip.
1. Polytrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and lead (Pb), 0.01-0.03mm
2. Sintered bronze layer, 0.20-0.35mm thick
3. Bronze backing.

Features

● The bronze backing provides a high corrosion resistance, anti-magnetic properties and a good thermal conductivity.
● Provides an increased level of chemical resistance to water vapour, sea water and various saline solutions
● Apply to bridge bearing plate due to thicker inner surface layer to arrive 120N/mm²
● A good thermal conductivity, a good wear and friction porous bronze matrix
